Jet Bedborough MD Glasscraft

The Standard Behind the System

A Foundation of Discipline: The Royal Marines

Jet Bedborough began his professional life with a decade of service in the Royal Marines. Specialising as a Physical Training Instructor (PTI). Jet operated in an environment where "near enough" was never an option. This period forged a lifelong commitment to technical precision, physical stamina, and a "Command and Control" approach to complex tasks—values that remain the bedrock of his work today.

Forty Years of Technical Excellence

Following his service, Jet transitioned into the architectural glazing industry, a career that has now spanned over four decades. In that time, he has personally sold, measured, and managed over 5,000 successful projects.

His expertise has been sought by the most demanding clients in the country, including commissions for The Royal Household at Windsor Castle, The London Diocese and VIPs, alongside high-end housebuilders and thousands of private homeowners.

The Launch of GlassCraft: A Specialized Mission

While Jet’s experience is vast, GlassCraft was created with a singular, modern focus: Internal Glass Partitions. By operating GlassCraft with a lean, highly efficient business model and bypassing the steep overheads of traditional retail showrooms, Jet passes those direct savings entirely to the client. This allows GlassCraft to offer superior value to homeowners - delivering the exact same "Promethean" technical standards required for a Royal Castle, but at a price point that makes bespoke luxury genuinely accessible.

Our Architectural Heritage Continues While internal partitioning is our core modern focus, we proudly maintain our legacy of master-tier external glazing. We remain fully open to client requests and specifications for "prime" window and door installations, continuing to offer:

  • Architectural Systems: Windows, Entrance Doors, Bifolds, Slimline Patio Sliding Doors, and Roof Lanterns.

  • Premium Material Profiles: High-grade PVCu, Architectural Aluminium, Engineered Timber, and Classic Steel.

The "Measure Twice, Fit Once" Philosophy

Jet’s approach to GlassCraft is defined by the discipline of the Technical Survey. He believes that the success of a high-margin internal partition is decided before the glass is even cut.

"I have never sought letters of praise; I simply ensure the next task is executed to the standard common sense demands"Jet

Why GlassCraft is Different

To protect the integrity of every fit, Jet employs a "Quality over Speed" labor model. Every craftsman on a GlassCraft project is paid a professional day-rate, not a percentage of the contract. This removes the incentive to rush, ensuring that every minimalist frame and silent magnetic closure is installed with the absolute precision a 5,000-job career guarantees.
